Baccalaureate for high school seniors
This month the Cathedral has another opportunity to support youth and their families as we host a diocesan baccalaureate on April 28 for graduating high school students. As detailed on the diocesan website, this service will “celebrate the accomplishments of graduating high school seniors and provide an opportunity for them to meet and have lunch with university chaplains, clergy and youth leaders in the areas where they will live the following school year(s).”
Bishop Smith will preach and present the graduates with a special gift and blessing. There will also be a representative from Episcopal Church Women to talk about the Church Periodical Club, which offers book grants to qualified candidates.
